Job summary

Jobtailor in the Philippines is seeking an Application Support Engineer (L2) to support the VS Application for clients, handle incidents, and perform deep technical analysis. The role includes root cause analysis, deploying fixes or workarounds, and coordinating with DevOps during rollouts.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Computer Engineering and 3+ years of experience, with strong SQL, scripting, and log analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, CS, or IT.
• Minimum 3+ years of work experience as Application Support Engineer.
• Knowledge and work experience in SQL, scripting, and analyzing logs.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 application support for the VS Application and handle incidents requiring deep technical analysis.
• Investigate application errors, system failures, and performance issues; perform root cause analysis when needed.
• Coordinate with DevOps during rollouts and ensure SLAs are met.
