Payreto in Makati is seeking a Project-Based KYC/AML Operations Associate to support onboarding, verification and due diligence, plus handling client inquiries. You will review customer data manually when automated checks flag issues, verify documents, perform selfie/liveness checks, and assess AML screening results.

You will work with the OaaS team and client risk squads, using Sumsub and CRM systems, ensuring accurate, timely decisions with clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Open to fresh graduates with basic understanding of KYC/AML concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to identify and assess risk indicators in customer data.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

Responsibilities

• Initiate KYC requests via Sumsub and monitor submissions.
• Review documents manually when automated checks flag issues.
• Conduct AML screening reviews and assess true vs false positives.
• Identify fraud signals and perform enhanced due diligence on high-risk cases.
• Document decisions with clear rationale and maintain audit trails.
• Answer calls/inquiries and coordinate with stakeholders for additional information.
