Job summary

Reca Resort Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Steward to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and food prep areas. You will wash and sanitize dishes and cookware, support the kitchen team, and help ensure a safe, efficient working environment.

The role requires reliability, ability to work as part of a team, and willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen steward or dishwasher roles is advantageous.
• Knowledge of basic kitchen sanitation and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots and pans; kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas including floors, sinks, and workstations.
• Dispose of garbage and segregate waste per procedures.
• Assist kitchen staff with cleaning and organizing work areas.
• Ensure a steady supply of clean and sanitized kitchenware and utensils.
• Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely per procedures.
• Assist with receiving, storing and organizing kitchen supplies as needed.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards.
• Report damaged equipment or safety hazards to supervisor.
• Perform other kitchen support and cleaning duties as assigned.

Job Summary

As a Kitchen Steward, you are responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in the kitchen and food preparation areas. Key Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, including floors, sinks, workstations, and storage areas.

• Properly dispose of garbage and segregate waste according to company procedures.

• Assist kitchen staff with cleaning and organizing work areas.

• Ensure adequate supply of clean and sanitized kitchenware and utensils.

• Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to established procedures.

• Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing kitchen supplies when required.

• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.

• Report damaged equipment, safety hazards, or maintenance concerns to the supervisor.

• Perform other kitchen support and cleaning duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a kitchen steward, dishwasher, utility worker, or similar position is an advantage.

• Knowledge of basic kitchen sanitation and safety practices.

• Able to lift and carry kitchen equipment and supplies when necessary.

• Reliable, hardworking, and punctual.

• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
