• Responsible, hardworking, and reliable.
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation is an advantage.
• Willing to work shifting schedules, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef in preparing ingredients for daily operations, including washing, cleaning, peeling, cutting, portioning, and preparing ingredients as needed.
• Prepare sauces, seasonings, garnishes, and other ingredients according to instructions.
• Assist in preparing dimsum, siopaos, fried buns, noodles, rice toppings, and other menu items.
• Ensure ingredients are properly stored, labeled, and handled.
• Follow recipes, portion sizes, and preparation procedures.
• Operate kitchen equipment properly and safely.
• Assist with steaming, frying, boiling, sautéing, plating, and other cooking processes.
• Keep the kitchen, preparation area, equipment, and workstations clean and organized.
• Wash and sanitize kitchen tools, utensils, and equipment.
• Follow proper food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.

About the role
