Qualifications

• Physical fitness and stamina to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.
• Good organisational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables, meats, and other food items.
• Assisting with food preparation and cooking under the guidance of senior kitchen staff.
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
• Organising and storing ingredients in designated areas, ensuring proper inventory management.
• Assisting with the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations as required.
• Supporting the kitchen team during service periods to ensure timely food preparation.
• Following food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
• Responding to requests from chefs and senior kitchen staff to support daily operations.
• Ensuring all waste is disposed of correctly and the kitchen remains clean and organised.
• Contributing to a positive and collaborative kitchen environment.
