Job summary

FOODEE GLOBAL CONCEPTS in Quezon City, Metro Manila, is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper and Cook for our Foodcourt to join a fast-paced kitchen team. This full-time position supports preparation and cooking while upholding high hygiene, safety and efficiency standards.

You will work with the kitchen staff to ensure all dishes meet our quality expectations, assist with basic prep, handle inventory reporting, and help manage service times during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen or foodcourt environments preferred.
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift items safely.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items according to standardised recipes and established quality standards.
• Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, marinating and seasoning ingredients.
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen station, adhering to food safety and hygiene protocols at all times.
• Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food is cooked to perfection.
• Plate and present dishes attractively and consistently.
• Support the kitchen team in managing food inventory and reporting stock levels to management.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, fryers, ovens and stovetops.
• Follow all food handling procedures and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Respond promptly to customer orders and assist in maintaining service times during peak periods.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and positive team dynamics.

About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper and Cook for our Foodcourt to join the team at FOODEE GLOBAL CONCEPTS. This is a full-time position based in Quezon City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will be a vital part of our fast-paced foodcourt kitchen environment, supporting the preparation and cooking of high-quality meals whilst maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, safety and efficiency. You will work collaboratively with our kitchen team to ensure that every dish served meets our exacting standards and delights our customers.
