Job summary

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of key client accounts, ensuring consistent and exceptional service delivery across all touchpoints
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers and influencers within assigned accounts
• Identifying and pursuing opportunities to expand account penetration, cross-selling and upselling of products and services
• Developing and implementing tailored account strategies and action plans to meet client objectives and drive revenue growth
• Preparing and delivering regular account reviews, performance reports and strategic updates to key clients
• Liaising with internal teams including product, delivery and support to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction
• Negotiating contracts, terms and commercial arrangements whilst maintaining profitability and company standards
• Conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities within key accounts
• Monitoring account health metrics and proactively addressing any issues or concerns that may impact client retention
• Representing Akari Lighting & Technology Corporation at client meetings, industry events and networking functions

This is a full-time position that plays a pivotal role in managing and nurturing our most valued client relationships. As a Key Accounts Officer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with key clients, ensuring their satisfaction whilst identifying opportunities for business growth and expansion. This role is essential to our sales strategy and directly contributes to the company's revenue objectives and long-term success.

What we're looking for

• Proven track record of 3-5 years' experience in account management, key account management or relationship management within a sales environment
• Demonstrated success in managing high-value client accounts and achieving or exceeding sales targets
• Strong understanding of the sales cycle, account development and business development processes
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships at all levels
• Proven ability to identify client needs and develop solutions that drive customer satisfaction and loyalty
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills with a commercial mindset
• Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
• Relevant experience in the lighting, technology or related industry is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field is advantageous
