Career Point is seeking an Area Manager to drive sales growth across the Visayas region. You will lead GT and FS distributors, optimize route-to-market, and build strong distributor relationships to maximize product availability and profitability.

Responsible for driving sales growth, distribution expansion, and execution excellence across the Visayas region. The role oversees the performance and development of General Trade (GT) Distributors and Food Service (FS) Distributors, ensuring effective route-to-market execution, strong trade relationships, and achievement of company sales and profitability targets.
The Area Manager will lead distributor management, market development initiatives, and field execution to maximize product availability, visibility, and sales performance within the assigned territory.
Achieve sales targets, volume growth, and revenue objectives for the Visayas area.
Develop and implement area sales strategies aligned with company goals.
Identify opportunities to expand market penetration and distribution coverage.
Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions when targets are not met.
Manage and develop General Trade (GT) and Food Service (FS) distributors
Ensure distributors maintain adequate stock levels, efficient inventory management, and timely replenishment.
Conduct regular business reviews with distributors to track performance and identify growth opportunities.
Ensure distributor operations comply with company policies and service standards.
Strengthen the route-to-market strategy to improve coverage and product availability.
Ensure proper territory alignment, route planning, and coverage of key accounts.
Support distributors in building an effective sales team structure and field execution capability.
Ensure proper product visibility, merchandising standards, and promotional execution in the market.
Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market trends.
Implement trade programs and promotions to drive sell-in and sell-out performance.
Build relationships with major food service operators, wholesalers, and institutional buyers.
Identify opportunities to expand product usage
Support distributors in acquiring and servicing key accounts.
Monitor sales forecasting, demand planning, and inventory turnover.
Ensure efficient trade spending budget utilization and on time collection.
Maintain accurate sales reports, market intelligence, and performance tracking.
Provide guidance and coaching to distributor sales teams to improve selling capabilities.
Conduct regular market visits and joint business reviews with distributors.
Ensure alignment of distributor teams with company sales objectives and standards.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
Minimum 5-8 years of sales experience in FMCG, preferrably with distributor management experience
Strong background in General Trade and Food Service channels
Experience handling regional sales operations
Excellent negotiation, leadership, and relationship management skills
Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities
Gas allowance: 160 liters per month
HMO: optional for up to 2 dependents
Incentive plan: TBD, quarterly payout with full year catch-up
