Job summary

Spectrum Center Schools and Programs in Fairfield, CA is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support students in grades K-12 across multiple locations. You will deliver OT services under supervision, following IEPs and district protocols, while working collaboratively with teachers and therapists.

The role emphasizes data collection, evaluations assistance, documentation, and ongoing staff training.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in occupational therapy from ACOTE-accredited program.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field preferred.
• Licensed or in process to obtain COTA credential.
• Ability to obtain crisis management training.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted occupational therapy interventions aligned with IEPs.
• Assist OT during evaluations with data collection and standardized assessments.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of student progress and session notes.
• Collaborate with educators to integrate therapeutic goals into classroom activities.
• Ensure therapy tools and equipment are well maintained and report issues to supervisor.
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to student planning and support.
