Job summary

SM Retail, Inc. Head Office is seeking a Junior System Analyst to manage and update critical reference and supporting documentation for Food Retail Business Unit projects.

The role involves assisting in IT solution delivery, monitoring CHs and SRs through ITS intake, updating tasks in ManageEngine, and coordinating with various business units to gather complete requirements. Fresh graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a relevant field.
• Recent graduate or up to 1 year of experience in project and technical documentation.
• Experience in formulating standards and procedures.
• Experience in creating process and business flowcharts.
• Basic knowledge of business or systems analysis.
• Up-to-date knowledge of MS Office 365 and MS Visio.
• Basic knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Open to fresh graduates.

Responsibilities

• Update assigned Change (CHs) tasks using the ManageEngine platform.
• Coordinate with and guide different business units within the Food Group to ensure complete and accurate requirements gathering.
• Assist Senior Manager - Project Managers (PMs) and System Analysts (SAs) in collaborating with technical teams to deliver robust system solutions and designs.
• Flag potential system impact on existing systems and recommend mitigation steps into the design.
• Develop, analyze, prioritize, and organize requirement specifications, data mappings, diagrams, and flowchart for developers and testers as guided by the Senior Manager - PMs and SAs.
• Coordinate with the developers to define and execute testing procedures and scripts.
• Review test cases provided by the QA team to ensure high-quality standards.
• Create and maintain documentation, including process maps, user guides, manuals, and training materials, updating them whenever changes occur.
• Act as the secondary liaison between the ITS department and business users.

Other Duties:

• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
• Maintain flexibility for relocation or travel to support the IT needs of various Food Retail Business Units.
• Execute formal handover procedures to the Service Operations team upon project completion and user acceptance.
• Provide escalation guidelines to business units in alignment with company standards.
• Provide timely on-call and on-site support as requested by management.
• Promptly respond to company communications from business and within ITS.
• Comply with all company standards, including data privacy, security protocols, and ITS policies.

Key Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a relevant field.
