Search Personnel Pte Ltd is seeking a Junior Staff Nurse (Specialist Clinic) to join a private cancer centre in Novena. The role involves preparing patients for consultations, assisting doctors, and administering treatments including chemotherapy where qualified.

You will coordinate laboratory investigations, monitor patients, and maintain nursing records. Oncology experience and cannulation skills are highly valued for this permanent, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
• Experience in oncology or chemotherapy is advantageous.
• Competency in blood taking and IV cannulation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for consultations and procedures.
• Perform blood taking and coordinate lab investigations.
• Assist doctors during consultations, examinations and treatments.
• Administer prescribed treatments per protocols and scope of practice.
• Support chemotherapy administration where qualified and authorised.
• Monitor patients and follow up on results.
• Perform IV cannulation and Port-a-Cath care when required.
• Ensure smooth patient flow and minimise waiting time.
• Maintain medical consumables and clinic equipment upkeep.
• Maintain nursing documentation and assist with admin duties.

Position Details

• Position : Junior Staff Nurse (Specialist Clinic)
• Location : Novena
• Working hours : 5.25 days | Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm | Alternate Saturday, 8.30am to 1.00pm
• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $4,500 Basic + 21 Days Annual Leave + Variable Bonus
• Duration : Permanent

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for medical consultations and treatment procedures.
• Perform blood taking and coordinate laboratory investigations.
• Assist doctors during consultations, examinations and treatment.
• Administer prescribed treatments and medications in accordance with clinical protocols and scope of practice.
• Support chemotherapy administration where clinically qualified and authorised.
• Monitor patients and follow up on investigation and treatment results.
• Perform IV cannulation and assist with Port-a-Cath access and care where required.
• Ensure smooth patient flow and minimise unnecessary waiting time.
• Maintain adequate medical and clinical consumables.
• Coordinate servicing and maintenance of clinic equipment where required.
• Maintain accurate nursing and clinical documentation.
• Support general clinic operations and administrative duties when required.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant nursing experience
• Experience in an oncology, chemotherapy, specialist clinic or related clinical environment will be advantageous
• Competency in blood taking and IV cannulation is preferred
• Experience with Port-a-Cath access and care will be an advantage
