Job summary

SGS & Co in the Philippines is seeking a data-focused SQL developer to maintain, enhance and operate the site's internally developed application, delivering reliable data extraction, processing and reporting solutions that align with user requirements and quality standards.

You will write and optimize SQL queries, develop Perl scripts for data processing, contribute to CSV validation activities, and apply ALCOA+ and 21 CFR/EU GMP-like controls where applicable, while documenting changes and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, bioinformatics or related discipline.
2+ years in SQL development and scripting.
Experience with CSV validation is an advantage.
Affinity with regulated environments (GxP, quality systems) is an asset.

Responsibilities

Maintain, enhance and operate the site's internally developed application.
Write, test, and optimize SQL queries, views, and stored procedures.
Develop Perl scripts for data processing and automation.
Investigate and resolve data issues and perform data quality checks.
Support CSV activities across the system lifecycle (IQ/OQ/PQ/UAT).
Ensure compliance with data integrity requirements (ALCOA+ and 21 CFR Part 11 / EU GMP Annex 11).
Document changes with technical documentation and SOP inputs.
Follow change and version control practices and comply with SGS policies.
Assist in training and personal/professional development.
