Job summary

SGS, the world’s leading testing, inspection and certification company, is seeking a data-focused SQL developer to join our Manila site. You will maintain, enhance and operate the internal application through SQL, scripting, and data processing.

You will implement data extraction, validation and reporting, support CSV activities across the system lifecycle, and ensure compliance with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11/EU GMP Annex 11 and data integrity standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, bioinformatics or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in SQL development and scripting.
• Experience with CSV data handling and validation is a plus.
• Familiarity with regulated environments (GxP) is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize SQL queries, views, stored procedures.
• Develop Perl scripts for data processing and automation.
• Investigate data issues and document root causes.
• Support CSV activities including IQ/OQ/PQ/UAT and traceability.
• Ensure data integrity and change control compliance.
