Job summary

Electronic Transfer and Advance Processing Inc. (eTap Inc) is seeking a Junior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure quality across self-service kiosk software and hardware. You will execute test plans, document defects, and validate fixes while collaborating with QA and development teams to improve product reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Basic understanding of software testing principles and QA methodologies.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify issues accurately.
• Willingness to learn and grow in software and hardware testing environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Familiarity with or interest in self-service kiosk systems is a plus.
• Exposure to test automation tools and scripting languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the QA team to understand project requirements and deliverables, with a focus on self-service kiosk hardware and software.
• Create, review, and update test plans and test cases for kiosk applications and related systems.
• Execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for self-service kiosk applications and related systems.
• Conduct manual testing on both hardware and software components to ensure product quality.
• Identify, document, and track hardware and software defects and issues.
• Work closely with the development team to reproduce, analyze, and support resolution of reported issues.
• Provide feedback and report test results to contribute to product improvement.
• Learn and apply best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
• Stay current with industry trends and technologies related to QA.
• Ensure compliance with eTap safety, security, and information security protocols.
