Job summary

Tierra Verdosa Services, Corp. is seeking a Design Coordinator to support terminal refurbishment projects, assisting in architectural drawings, design concepts, and technical details to meet project goals.

You will coordinate with engineers, contractors, and airport stakeholders, conduct site inspections, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will manage documentation and report progress to management and authorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of architectural drawings and design concepts.
• Prepare and update architectural drawings with comments from design leads, engineers and clients.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, MEP engineers, contractors, and airport stakeholders to integrate designs across disciplines.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify drawings and resolve minor design or construction issues.
• Ensure all outputs adhere to local building codes, airport guidelines, and safety/accessibility standards.
• Act as liaison between design teams, airport authorities, contractors and clients for design matters.
• Support implementation of design and documentation standards for QA and continuous improvement.
• Maintain organized records of drawings, submittals and architectural correspondence; prepare progress reports.

Design Support: Assists in the preparation of architectural drawings, design concepts, and technical details for terminal refurbishment and fit-out projects.

Drawing Review and Documentation: Prepares and updates architectural drawings, ensuring accuracy and consistency across project phases. Supports drawing reviews by incorporating comments from design leads, engineers, and clients.

Coordination: Collaborates with engineers (civil, structural, MEP), contractors, and airport stakeholders to ensure smooth integration of architectural designs with other disciplines and site condarons.

Site Support: Conducts regular site inspections to monitor architectural works, verifies compliance with drawings, and assists in resolving minor design or construction issues.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensures all architectural outputs adhere to local building codes, airport authority guidelines, and safety and accessibility standards.
Stakeholder Communication: Acts as the key liaison for architectural matters between design teams, airport authorities, contractors, and clients, ensuring clear communication and prompt resolution of design challenges.

Quality Control: Supports implementation of design and documentation standards, contributing to quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintains organized records of drawings, submittals, and architectural correspondence. Assists in preparing progress and coordination reports.

Learning and Development: Participates in design coordination meetings, gaining exposure to complex airport refurbishment processes and enhancing technical and project management skills.

Progress Monitoring and Reporting: Tracks project progress against schedules, prepares detailed reports and presentations for senior management and airport authorities, and documents any changes or deviations.
