Arup is seeking a Junior Platform Engineer in Manila to help build and run secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and shared platform services used by teams across the organisation.

You will automate infrastructure as code with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and self-service tooling, while improving monitoring, reliability and security. You will collaborate with platform engineers, data engineers and architects to shape how we engineer for impact.

Formación

• New or some experience in platform engineering, DevOps or cloud engineering.
• Exposure to major cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP) and with Infrastructure as Code (ideally Terraform).
• Familiar with Git and CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) and scripting in Python.
• Experience with containers or serverless, monitoring and alerting, and security-first mindset.
• Able to collaborate and explain technical ideas to non-technical colleagues.

Is this role right for you?

• You are new or have some experience in platform engineering, DevOps or cloud engineering, supporting production workloads.
• You’ve had some exposure to major cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP) and with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform.
• You’re comfortable with Git and CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) and script your way out of repetitive work, ideally in Python.
• You’ve come across containers or serverless, monitoring and alerting, and you keep security front of mind.
• You enjoy collaborating, keep learning, and can explain technical ideas to non-technical colleagues.
