Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Procurement, Accounting, Finance, or Operations Management.
• Approximately 1 year of procurement, purchasing, sourcing, logistics, or supply chain experience preferred.
• Recent graduates with strong communication, research, and analytical skills may also be considered.
• Basic understanding of procurement and supply chain processes.
• Ability to research suppliers and products in the Philippines and internationally.
• Ability to manage multiple RFQs and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and general online research.
• Willingness to learn government contracting and international procurement requirements.

Responsibilities

• Source and identify qualified local and international suppliers.
• Prepare and issue RFQs and follow up with vendors for timely quotations.
• Review supplier quotations, pricing, availability, lead times, and commercial terms.
• Prepare quote comparisons and support supplier selection.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms under the guidance of senior procurement staff.
• Support purchase order preparation and procurement documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams regarding deliveries.
• Track orders, lead times, shipping status, and delivery milestones.
• Conduct supplier due diligence and verify company registrations, licenses, certifications, and supporting documentation.
• Conduct market research and price benchmarking.
• Maintain accurate procurement files, quotations, purchase orders, invoices, delivery documents, and supplier records.
• Support U.S. Government, defense, and institutional procurement requirements.
• Assist with urgent and time-sensitive sourcing requirements.
• Provide regular status updates and promptly elevate supplier, pricing, or delivery issues.
