Job summary

CT Link Systems Inc. is seeking a Network Support Associate to assist with installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of networking gear, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. You will monitor performance, respond to alerts, and perform basic troubleshooting in a client-support setting.

The role includes on-site work, potential overtime, and on-call duties. A foundational IT/CS degree and knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, and routing are required; security

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VLANs, and wireless networking.
Basic understanding of firewalls, VPNs, and network security concepts is an advantage.
Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems is an advantage.
Willing to learn new technologies and work in a client-support environment.
Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Willing to work onsite, render overtime, and participate in on-call support when required.
Experience with network monitoring tools, ticketing systems, or managed services environments is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Monitor network performance and respond to network alerts and incidents.
Perform basic network troubleshooting and escalate complex issues when necessary.
Support network implementation, migration, and maintenance activities.
Document network configurations, changes, and technical activities.
Participate in preventive maintenance and health checks.
Coordinate with vendors and senior engineers during incident resolution.
Ensure compliance with company policies, security standards, and documented procedures.
Provide technical support to clients and internal users as assigned.
Perform other duties related to network operations as required.
