Job summary

OPUS IT Services Pte Ltd is seeking a Junior Desktop Support/End User IT Support Engineer (Mandarin Speaker) for a 1-year contract renewable. The role involves onsite support at CIMB Bank Raffes Place, a 12-hour rotational shift, and handling 2nd-level EUC issues for a banking client.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of desktop/end user support experience, Mandarin proficiency to engage Taiwanese clients, and strong communication to manage multiple IT service requests with precise documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years desktop/end user support experience.
• Experience with enterprise or banking clients is advantageous.
• Chinese language proficiency is welcome for Taiwanese client interaction.
• Strong communication skills and fast learner.
• Relationship management to nurture client partnerships.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and collaborate across teams.
• Diploma in Business Management or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite support within premises for all end users.
• Attend to walk-in users and resolve issues promptly.
• Deliver 2nd-level support for hardware and software problems.
• Follow up on incident cases until closure and ensure documentation in ticketing system.
• Responsible for EUC patching.
• Handle projects related to EUC implementation and upgrades.
• Attend to all IT service requests and logged incidents.
• Provide accurate assessment and resolution of problems.
• Manage customer expectations during resolution.
• Support 30 Raffles Place and Plaza8 as needed.
• Perform software reinstallation using predefined procedures.
• Perform basic fault rectifications (1st level IT security tools, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
• Assist in configuration and installation of new PCs and issuance to new staff.
