Job summary

Cloud Console seeks a Junior IT Support Engineer to assist end-users, monitor client environments, and support IT infrastructure with a focus on 24/7 operations.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, monitoring, and collaboration with senior staff to ensure seamless IT services for small to mid-sized clients. A Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS is preferred, with strong communication and reliable connectivity essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in technical tasks and client support.
• Certifications are a plus but not required.
• Basic understanding of server and network administration.
• Strong communication skills with clients.
• Experience supporting small to mid-sized businesses is helpful.
• Familiarity with structured cabling a bonus.
• Reliable internet connection (min 10 Mbps).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist end-users with technical issues and provide troubleshooting support for workstations.
• Monitor client environments and report issues promptly.
• Maintain detailed time logs for all tasks performed.
• Assist with software patching, backups, alerts, antivirus updates, and hardware monitoring.
• Collaborate with senior team members to resolve client issues effectively.
• Maintain open communication with colleagues and team leaders.
• Support engineering teams and project managers to meet project deadlines.
• Attend to call queues regularly and assist with special projects as needed.
• Perform additional duties as required.
