Job summary

Institutional Shareholder Services Philippines is seeking a detail-oriented data specialist for data extraction and quality assurance. You will collect datasets from financial sources, apply established methodologies, and ensure timely delivery to internal teams.

The role requires strong Excel skills, the ability to learn new technologies, and excellent communication in a cross-border environment. Initial dayshift on-site work in Makati is followed by a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field required.
• Experience with MS Excel preferred.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication for a cross-border, multicultural environment.
• Adaptability to changing tasks throughout the workday.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Extract data sets from financial entities and sources following established methodologies.
• Execute work processes to ensure timely, high-quality data delivery.
• Identify deviations and errors in financial data and report to research teams.
• Correct or escalate data issues per policies and methodologies.
• Participate in data quality assurance, including root-cause analysis.
• Prepare final data sets for ingestion using MS Access queries or proprietary software.
• Perform quality assurance checks for data accuracy and currency.
• Refresh reports for business and stakeholder use.
