Job summary

Institutional Shareholder Services Philippines is seeking a detail‑oriented analyst to gather and analyze financial regulatory documents from SEC Edgar and regional sources. You will build a document library, verify calculations, and support data quality assurance for client reports.

You will collaborate with teams in the Philippines and the U.S., tag mutual fund strategies, and contribute to weekly newsletters and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Management, Finance, Business, or closely related field.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting, follow-through, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively and strategically in a cross-border, multi-cultural team environment.
• Experience working with financial data gathering and analysis for at least one year is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Excel for financial data manipulation and preparation is preferred.
• Familiarity with annual reports and board reporting (15c, AoV) is advantageous.
• Knowledge of mutual fund fee structures is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Gather financial regulatory documents from SEC Edgar and other sources.
• Build a document library for mutual funds and ETFs and input data into a proprietary system.
• Verify calculations produced by the proprietary system prior to client reports.
• Conduct data quality assurance and identify data quality issues.
• Collaborate with teams in the Philippines and the U.S. to deliver data to clients on time.
• Read and understand mutual fund strategies to tag them for client-facing apps.
• Summarize industry changes in a weekly newsletter.
• Create and update process documentation in a centralized database.
• Support process improvements and testing deliverables.
