Job summary

OptiHR Business Solutions Inc. is hiring a Junior Financial Analyst to support its Philippine Controllership team. This individual contributor role focuses on accounting and financial reporting within the Philippine framework.

Responsibilities include end-to-end accounting, OIS variance analysis, reconciliations, and assisting with draft financial statements and audits. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of experience, a degree in Accountancy, and SAP/Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in financial reporting or general accounting.
• Experience with financial statement preparation and full accounting cycle.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine GAAP and PFRS.
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• CPA, CMA, or CFA qualification is preferred but not required.
• Audit or logistics industry experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end general accounting activities.
• Prepare OIS reports and conduct variance analysis.
• Complete account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate financial records and databases.
• Assist in preparing draft financial statements and audit requirements.
• Support month-end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine accounting standards and internal controls.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting and reporting matters.
