Job summary

F&Q Accounting Services is seeking an Accountant to join our growing team in the Philippines. The ideal candidate has at least two years of general accounting experience, GAAP knowledge, and strong Excel skills, including pivot tables. Experience with QuickBooks Online is a plus.

You will record transactions, reconcile accounts, and analyze financial data while adhering to standards and procedures. This role offers growth in a supportive environment for early-career professionals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience (public or corporate).
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Solid understanding of GAAP principles.

Responsibilities

• Record financial transactions in accordance with GAAP.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, loan, and vendor statements.
• Perform Balance Sheet review and Profit and Loss analysis.
• Conduct month-end and year-end closing review for accurate reports.
• Utilize Excel formulas and pivot tables to analyze data.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and policies.
• Update procedures and accounting manuals to reflect current workflows.
• Collaborate with team on process improvements and ad hoc projects.
