Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is seeking a Senior Associate to join the Emerging Tech Standard Delivery Team, partnering with Operations and Technology to design data‑driven financial analytics solutions, including NLP, LLMs and RAG workflows, that deliver clear business value across D&A.

You will build data pipelines, contribute to ML model development, and work across cloud platforms with CI/CD and MLOps practices, while communicating complex concepts to stakeholders and collaborating

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science with a Data Science focus.
• Strong foundation in data analytics, ML/NLP, and data engineering practices.
• Experience with Python and core data science libraries; familiarity with cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop data acquisition, cleaning, transformation, and processing workflows.
• Design and improve financial analytics data pipelines for end‑to‑end experiences.
• Collaborate with analytics experts to translate data needs into model components.
• Contribute to ML/DL model development, including NLP, LLMs, and RAG approaches.
• Build evaluation frameworks to measure automation and AI effectiveness.
• Engage in data processing tasks like web scraping, entity extraction, and document prep.
• Support cloud development (AWS or similar) with CI/CD and MLOps best practices.
• Stay current with analytics techniques and financial data trends.
