Job summary

TEAM International invites a motivated Junior Solution Engineer to join our global IT consulting and software development teams in the Philippines. You will learn cloud, data, software engineering, and AI-enabled delivery while contributing to design, development, testing, and deployment under guidance.

The role emphasizes collaboration with senior engineers, product owners, and stakeholders, with hands-on work in AWS, Snowflake, and modern engineering practices, plus responsible AI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning, or a related technical discipline.
• Up to 3 years of professional experience in software engineering or related roles.
• Good understanding of fundamentals: programming, APIs, data structures, testing, debugging, documentation.
• Hands-on experience with Python and/or Java.
• Good SQL fundamentals and exposure to data modelling, data pipelines, or Snowflake.
• Exposure to AWS concepts and services.
• Experience with Git-based workflows, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
• Awareness of data security, governance, and responsible data use.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, development, testing, deployment, and improvement of software and data solutions under guidance.
• Support reliable data pipelines and data products using AWS, Snowflake, and related technologies.
• Assist with modelling and maintaining Snowflake datasets, schemas, and data structures.
• Apply good engineering practices: clean code, modular design, automated testing, version control, and documentation.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver defined tasks.
• Use AI-assisted tools to support coding, testing, and documentation.
• Support cloud-native integrations and automation on AWS and related patterns.
• Participate in deployments, releases, troubleshooting, and peer code reviews.
