Job summary

Thinking Machines Philippines is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design and deploy scalable cloud infrastructure and AI-enabled software. You will create CI/CD pipelines, deploy applications, and help shape the client-ready architecture.

You will work across Azure, AWS, and GCP, collaborate with engineers and stakeholders, and contribute to secure, reliable cloud solutions that power data-driven projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role in cloud environments (Azure, AWS).
• Proven CI/CD experience with Github Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong knowledge of web applications and API development.
• Experience with Python/JavaScript, React/NextJS, Django/Flask/FastAPI, and data pipelines.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch databases.
• Excellent external communication and proactive learning mindset.
• Certifications (e.g., Azure/AWS Architect) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Develop web applications and APIs following best practices.
• Build high-volume data pipelines and data-driven apps.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver solutions.
• Implement secure networking, Terraform-managed infrastructure, and CI/CD processes.
• Communicate technical details clearly to clients and team members.
