Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an entry-level Cash Application Staff in Metro Manila to support accounts receivable and finance operations. You will ensure accurate processing of customer payments, link funds to invoices, and document cash transactions while collaborating with Collections, Ecommerce, Treasury, Billing, and Tax teams.

The role welcomes fresh graduates or early-career candidates with strong attention to detail, basic computer literacy, and familiarity with ERP/accounting systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related business course.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review payment application documents submitted by third-party collectors and credit & collection team members.
• Match and link unapplied credits and advances to corresponding customer invoices, following reconciliation outputs and requests from Collections and Ecommerce teams.
• Identify and correctly allocate customer payments received across multiple bank accounts using reports provided by the Treasury team.
• Record short payments in SAP with accurate and appropriate reason codes, and escalate these to responsible teams for timely resolution.
• Review, validate, and prepare Refund Proposals (RFP) for customer refunds, ensuring visibility to teams handling follow-up actions.
• Process and book creditable withholding tax certificates in the system; transmit processed documents to the Tax Team to support BIR filing requirements.
• Prepare Request for Credit Memos (RCM) to assist Billing Associates with credit note issuance.
• Forward complete and verified payment documents to the Relationship Manager (RM).
• Maintain systematic, secure filing of all records related to cash application and accounts receivable adjustments.
• Issue system-generated collection receipts within 7 working days from payment processing.
