Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD with experience creating technical drawings in construction/engineering.

• Familiarity with Revit or related design software is advantageous.

Key responsibilities

• Create, modify and maintain detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD software in accordance with project specifications and engineering standards
• Prepare construction drawings, mechanical, electrical schematics, and other technical documentation required for project implementation
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and project managers to understand design requirements and translate them into accurate CAD drawings
• Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness and compliance with relevant codes and standards before submission
• Update and revise drawings based on feedback from design teams and project stakeholders
• Maintain organised digital and physical filing systems for all project drawings and documentation
• Ensure all drawings are properly labelled, scaled and dimensioned for clarity and ease of interpretation
• Coordinate with other team members to ensure consistency across multiple drawing sets and project phases
• Support the preparation of tender documents and project proposals that require technical drawings

What we're looking for

• Proficiency in AutoCAD software with demonstrated experience creating technical drawings in an engineering or construction environment
