Job summary

CROSS-LINK CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION is seeking an AutoCAD Operator/Draftsman to draft and revise technical drawings for construction projects. You will prepare 2D drawings, interpret multiple discipline plans, and update designs as site conditions change.

The role requires coordination with engineers and project teams and staying organized with documentation. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of AutoCAD experience, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Drafting Technology, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• With at least 1–2 years of experience as an AutoCAD Operator/Draftsman, preferably in the construction industry.
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D; knowledge of 3D is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable in preparing technical drawings, shop drawings, as-built drawings, and construction plans.
• Able to interpret architectural, structural, electrical, and mechanical drawings.
• Familiar with construction standards, dimensions, and drafting practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
• Willing to work on-site and coordinate with engineers, project staff, and other departments.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise technical and construction drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop detailed drawings based on specifications, sketches, and instructions from engineers and project managers.
• Update drawings based on site conditions and approved revisions.
• Prepare shop drawings and as-built drawings as required.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper formatting of all drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers and project personnel regarding drawing requirements and revisions.
• Maintain and organize drawing files and documentation.
• Assist in other drafting and technical documentation requirements of the project.
