Job Description

Junior Auditor (with CaseWare experience)

Work Setup: Hybrid in Angeles City, Pampanga (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Work Shift: Morning Shift, AU Timezone | Monday to Friday

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Auditor to join our auditing team. Provides timely, high-quality deliverables and client service. Effectively communicates general knowledge of the business, industry, and systems to the engagement team and the client for efficient information flow. Responds to and proactively acts on clients' requests. Demonstrates knowledge of methodology, relevant standards, and systems and can guide junior team members. Productively adheres to work plan schedule and completes sections with an acceptable number of work paper comments. This role reports to the Audit Manager, and whoever else is deemed appropriate from time to time.

Responsibilities

• Support the audit team and Audit Manager in ensuring that all audit tasks are delivered efficiently and with quality.
• Understand and consistently act on clients’ needs and expectations; know their business, industry, systems, and company values.
• Provide timely, high‑quality client service that exceeds client expectations, including deliverables.
• Execute and deliver on a variety of external audit client engagements in an effective and methodical manner.
• Build successful client relationships with a positive attitude toward challenges and the agility to multitask effectively across competing priorities.
• Research difficult audit technical issues and become a trusted advisor to clients.
• Address client concerns and escalate issues as they arise.
• Interact with clients to help ensure efficient information flow from the client to the team.
• Assist the Finance Manager in the preparation of the budget.
• Assist the senior‑in‑charge in determining the budget and actual hours spent in the audit, which will assist in the budget preparation.

Qualifications

• Will be gauged on effectiveness of collaboration with the team and the team feedback.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• A CPA license is not required but would be desirable.
• Continuous 2‑4 years of experience in audit or a related field.
• Experience in CaseWare is a must and non‑negotiable.
• Additional certifications or specialized training in auditing or accounting are a plus.
• Experience with Australian methodologies is beneficial.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Comprehensive review of Annual Financial Statements prepared in accordance with IFRS.
• Ability to prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Ability to draft engagement letters and reports to management.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and auditing tasks.
• Experience in audit of basic and complex audit sections.
• Experience in planning, execution, and completion of audit procedures.
• Ability to adhere to strict deadlines.
• Exceptional client relationship skills.
• Ability to work in a high‑pressure environment and tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
