Position Overview
Experienced Audit Associate at Digital Planners Corporation.
Remote position, morning shift (AU Timezone), Monday to Friday. 6‑month independent contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct audits with precision, ensuring compliance with professional standards.
- Communicate effectively with engagement teams and clients to ensure smooth audit processes.
- Adhere to work plans and schedule, completing sections with limited work paper comments.
- Support the audit team and Audit Manager in delivering efficient and high‑quality audit tasks.
- Manage client expectations, providing timely, high‑quality service and building relationships.
- Research complex audit technical issues and advise clients.
- Assist the Finance Manager with budget preparation and track hours spent on audits.
- Collaborate with the team, meeting deadlines and improving results.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
- CPA license required.
- 2–3 years of audit or related experience.
- Experience with CaseWare preferred.
- Additional audit/accounting certifications a plus.
- Familiarity with Australian methodologies beneficial.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to review and prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
- Experience drafting engagement letters and reports.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Capacity to work under tight deadlines and independently or as part of a team.
Internet & Technical Requirements
- Stable internet connection (minimum 20 Mbps upload / 10 Mbps download, latency <30 ms).
- Reliable backup power source.
