Job summary

SAPRO is seeking External Audit professionals based in the Philippines for a 12‑month Independent Contractor Agreement. The role is fully remote, supporting Australian clients during their busy season, with a Luzon (Philippines) location and a 2026 contract window.

Experienced Associates require CPA (preferred), 4 years of external audit, and Australian experience; Seniors require 5+ years. CaseWare is non‑negotiable. Strong communication and coaching skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Accounting/Finance undergraduate degree completed.
• CPA qualification preferred or required.
• External audit experience: 4+ years (associate) or 5+ years (senior).
• Australian busy season experience with a small or mid-tier firm.
• CaseWare experience is non-negotiable.
• Public accounting firm background beneficial.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Audit training or articles completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide a broad range of fully integrated audit services for global clients.
• Provide timely, high‑quality deliverables and client service.
• Communicate knowledge of business, industry, and systems to engagement team and clients.
• Respond to client requests and guide junior team members.
• Audit and document both basic and complex audit sections.
• Senior level: facilitate fieldwork and coordinate deliverables from multiple team members.
• Monitor productivity and maintain alignment with the work plan.

Experienced Associate Minimum Requirements

• Completion of an Accounting / Finance related Undergraduate degree.
• Fully Qualified CPA preferred.
• 4 years of external audit experience.
• Completion of your audit training or articles.
• Not out of audit for longer than 1 year
• Public Accounting firm experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Review and coaching of junior team members.

• Provides timely, high-quality deliverables and client service.

Senior

• Providestimely, high-qualitydeliverables covering complex sections, with a reasonable number of workpaper comments.
• Mayfacilitate fieldwork, coordinate deliverables from multiple team members.
• Demonstratesdepth ofknowledge of methodology, relevant standards, and systems andmay collaborate with Manager to guideassociates, interns andmonitorproductivityand workplan schedule.
• Proactively addressesclient concerns and escalatesissues as they arise.
• Interacts with clientsand engagement teamsto help ensure the information flow from the client to the team is efficient.

Note

• Should you be successful in your application, you areexpected to have access to the internet, and to ensure that the internet connection is uninterrupted and always accessible.
