Job summary

Our Clients in Makati is seeking an auditable external auditor to join our professional services team. You will conduct external audit engagements for international clients, including financial statement audits, reviews, and other assurance procedures across diverse industries.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, knowledge of PFRS/IFRS, and the ability to collaborate with local and overseas teams to ensure timely deliverables and high audit quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting, or related field required; CPA certification is an advantage?
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with ability to interpret financial information and prepare audit documentation.
• Experience in external audit including financial statement audits, reviews, or compilations.
• Working knowledge of PFRS and/or IFRS.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills, with ability to collaborate with local and international teams.

Work Setup: Monday to Friday, Full Onsite for 6 months

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct external audit engagements, including financial statement audits, reviews, compilations, and other assurance-related procedures for international clients across diverse industries.


• Prepare, examine, and complete audit working papers, ensuring accuracy, adherence to applicable accounting and auditing standards, and timely submission of deliverables.


• Work closely with engagement teams and overseas clients to obtain required documentation, address audit inquiries, discuss findings, and ensure effective communication throughout the engagement.


• Utilize established audit methodologies, tools, and software, including CaseWare, to document audit procedures, findings, and conclusions while maintaining high standards of audit quality.


• Manage and support audit engagements from planning through completion by assessing risks, addressing audit issues, and ensuring compliance with professional and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting, or a related field; CPA certification is an advantage.


• Relevant experience in external audit, including financial statement audits, reviews, compilations, or similar assurance engagements.


• Working knowledge of applicable accounting and auditing standards, particularly PFRS and/or IFRS.

• Excellent communication and client relationship skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both local and international teams.
