Job summary

Ascend Premier Construction Corporation in the Philippines is seeking a talented architect/interior designer to translate client briefs into compelling design concepts. You will lead concept development, produce mood boards, sketches, and 3D models to capture the client’s vision and guide project direction.

You will create multiple design options, refine them with feedback, stay abreast of industry trends, and apply sustainable principles.

Qualifications

• Experience in architectural and interior design concept development.
• Ability to prepare multiple design options and iterate with feedback.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and project teams to understand design briefs, functional requirements, and the desired aesthetic for each project.
• Develop mood boards, sketches, and 3D models to present design concepts that align with the client’s vision.
• Prepare multiple design options and iterate based on client feedback.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and technology advancements in architecture and interior design.
• Incorporate sustainable design principles and innovative solutions into project proposals.
• Produce detailed architectural and interior design drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
• Create technical documentation for materials, finishes, fixtures, and furniture selections.
• Ensure that all design plans comply with building codes, safety regulations, and zoning laws.
• Research and specify appropriate materials, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) based on design intent, sustainability, cost, and client preferences.
• Work with vendors and suppliers to source samples and endorse procurement processes.
