Job summary

GHD is seeking an experienced Architect with a strong Interior Design background to lead interior-focused projects from concept through documentation and visualization. The role can be based in Makati, Quezon City, or Cebu, depending on your home base and location.

You will develop conceptual sketches, detailed drawings, BIM models, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams using Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, and related tools to communicate design intent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture and at least 5 years of relevant experience in architecture with a strong Interior Design focus.
• Experience in space planning, interior detailing, material selection, and documentation for commercial, workplace, hospitality, residential, or mixed-use projects.
• Ability to balance aesthetics, functionality, and technical requirements across architectural and interior design solutions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual sketches/plans and BIM models based on project briefs.
• Develop detailed drawings using advanced design, drafting, and modeling principles.
• Create project drawing lists and participate in design discussions with junior staff.
• Coordinate drafting and visualization work with senior staff and project teams.
• Assist with project programs and time/cost estimates for tasks.
• Provide accurate drawings, BIM models, and necessary calculations.
• Provide checking capability to projects when required.

Our Architecture & Design Group is looking for an experienced Architect with strong Interior Design experience who can confidently lead and deliver interior-focused projects from concept through documentation and visualization.

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Prepare conceptual presentation sketches/plans / BIM models/images based on written project briefings or discussions.
• Prepare detailed drawings based on previous examples or more frequently concept sketch designs utilizing advanced knowledge of relevant design, drafting, and modeling principles
• Prepare and create project drawing lists
• Participate in project design discussions with project teams, and assign work within a small team accordingly
• Coordination of drafting and visualization work as assigned by senior staff
• Assist the Project Architect (Job Manager) with the preparation of project programs and time/cost estimates for specific project tasks as required
• Providing accurate drawings, BIM models, and where applicable, calculations
• Providing checking capability to projects as required

What you will bring to the team:

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in architecture, with a strong focus on Interior Design and Interior Architecture projects.
• Demonstrated experience in space planning, interior detailing, material selection, and design documentation for commercial, workplace, hospitality, residential, or mixed-use projects.
• Ability to develop both architectural and interior design solutions, balancing aesthetics, functionality, and technical requirements.
• Strong skills in 3D modeling, rendering, and visualization to effectively communicate design intent.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit Architecture and BIM modeling.
• Solid understanding of construction methodologies, interior fit-out processes, and local building regulations.
• Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of SketchUp, Lumion, Photoshop, and Navisworks is highly desirable.
