Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and transactional bookkeeping.
• Proficient in MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas) and experienced with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail for meticulous record-keeping.
• Ability to identify, research, and resolve minor transactional discrepancies.
• High level of integrity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality with financial data.

Responsibilities

• Processing and Recording Expenses - Match invoices with POs and DRs, verify accuracy and supporting documents.
• Billing and Collection Support - Prepare and issue invoices; monitor customer accounts for delayed payments and assist in collection efforts.
• Data Entry and Ledger Maintenance - Record and post daily financial transactions into the accounting system.
• Verification and Discrepancy Resolution - Perform routine reconciliations and report discrepancies.
• Petty Cash and Deposits - Manage petty cash fund and prepare cash and checks for bank deposit.
• Filing and Archiving - Organize and maintain filing system for invoices, receipts, contracts, tax forms.
• Communication - Respond to inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal staff regarding balances or payment status.
