Security Bank Corporation is hiring a Junior Accounting Analyst to perform period-end closing on the Bank’s ledgers and financial reporting systems, and to reconcile subledgers against the general ledger.
You will handle postings in Oracle fixed assets and accounts receivables, assist in data quality improvements, and provide variance analysis for selected expense accounts to support regulators and internal stakeholders.
As a Junior Accounting Analyst, you will perform period-end closing on the Bank’s ledgers and financial reporting systems, reconciliations of selected subledgers against the Bank’s general ledgers and maintains non-core banking subledgers such as Accounts Receivables, Fixed Assets, among others. Improve the control environment through identifying and resolving data quality issues and participating in continuous improvement. Provide decision support through internal reports for HR, Project Team, IT, among others and variance analysis of selected operational expense accounts.
