Job summary

Global Payments Inc. in Manila is seeking a Junior Accountant to join the Settlement Team and help ensure financial accuracy and timely closing of settlements.

You will support reconciliations, investigate variances, and collaborate with stakeholders to uphold controls and audit readiness. A year of accounting experience and strong Excel skills are preferred. Bonus if you have Oracle/SAP experience in a global payments environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 1+ year of accounting experience with financial reporting and reconciliations.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and controls.
• Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Oracle/Frontier/SAP or similar systems.
• Ability to analyze discrepancies, prioritize tasks, and deliver accurate results.

Responsibilities

• Drive settlement reporting, reconciliations, and accounting activities on time and to high standards.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve financial variances to minimize risk.
• Own assigned portfolios, escalate issues, and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Support system enhancements, process automation, and operational efficiency.
• Maintain documentation and assist audit readiness and governance.
