Global Payments Process Centre, Inc. is seeking an experienced accounting professional in Manila to lead month-end close, prepare complex journal entries, and ensure GAAP compliance. You will collaborate with auditors and business partners to maintain accurate financial reporting and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in related Business field with 5+ years of accounting experience.
• CPA certification is an advantage.
• Experience in Credit Card Processing or Bankcard industry preferred.
• Knowledge of Oracle software/ERP or GL reconciliation tool.
• Strong MS Excel skills.
• Windows/PC experience with Excel 2007 basic use.
• Analytical thinking and data accuracy.
• Experience in Accounting / Cash Flow management.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes with timely, accurate reporting.
• Review and post journal entries and reconciliations by junior staff.
• Prepare complex journal entries, accruals, allocations, and corrections.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations with variance analysis.
• Analyze and report variances to finance management.
• Ensure transactions comply with GAAP, SOX, and regulations.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors for audits.
• Identify and implement process improvements for accuracy and efficiency.
• Work with business partners and operations to ensure accurate reporting.
• Provide guidance to junior staff and assist with development.
