Job summary

Global Payments is seeking an experienced Accountant in Quezon City to join the global accounting team. You will review daily transactions, run reconciliations, and support month-end closes while ensuring policy compliance and proper documentation.

The role requires a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, 5+ years in accounts payable/general accounting/audit, and strong Excel skills. Multinational exposure and Oracle/SAP Ariba familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from a reputable college or university.
Minimum of 5 years combined work experience in accounts payable, general accounting, and/or audit.
Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Exposure to multinational operations and experience with Oracle, SAP Ariba, and automated expense management tools.

Responsibilities

Review and process daily accounting transactions with accuracy and internal controls.
Utilize accounting systems (e.g., Ariba, Oracle Fusion, Certify) and ensure policy compliance.
Prepare reconciliations, analyses, journal entries, and support month-end close activities.
Manage accounts payable activities, including invoice processing and payment coordination with Treasury.
Support reporting, audits, and process improvements with organized records and documentation.
