Job summary

Noventiq India, Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support the finance team. The role focuses on day-to-day accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy of records.

Work is Monday to Friday with in-office presence; the company offers eligibility for annual bonus, 13th month salary, mobile/transport/parking allowances, and healthcare coverage for employees and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy, accounting technology, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of general accounting or related experience.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries and reflect transactions in the accounting system.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and GL account reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Maintain AP/AR records for accuracy and completeness.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities with schedules and docs.
• Assist with tax returns, government reports, and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments on financial transactions and budgets.
• Support audits by providing schedules and documentation.
• Identify discrepancies and propose corrective actions.
