Job summary

Webuy Travel Sdn Bhd in the Philippines invites a developing Finance professional to grow beyond routine administration. The role provides exposure to bank reconciliation, AP/AR reconciliation, intercompany activity, month-end closing, accruals and prepayments, journal entries, and basic financial reporting with room to progress toward accounting independence.

Fresh graduates or those with 1–2 years of experience will gain practical skills, while the potential to advance to a fully qualified

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in accounting, finance or related discipline.
• Fresh graduates or 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and double-entry accounting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Xero or other accounting software is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented, organised and responsible.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willing to learn and take on broader accounting responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) matters
• Process supplier invoices, staff claims and payment requests
• Issue invoices / receipts and follow up on customer collections
• Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents
• Assist with bank and payment reconciliations
• Assist with intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Prepare accounting schedules and basic journal entries
• Assist with month-end closing, including accruals and prepayments
• Provide day-to-day Finance support to business and operational teams
• Assist with local banking matters and documentation
