Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Financial Accountant to join our Consumer Finance team in the Philippines. You will support cash allocation, banking reconciliations, and month-end close processes while delivering exceptional service to customers and internal partners.

You’ll work under the Receivables & Reconciliations Supervisor, focusing on accurate data entry, timely issue resolution, and continuous process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Accounts Receivable, Reconciliations, Bookkeeping, Finance Administration, or Junior Accounting position.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Experience handling payment allocations, banking transactions, and account reconciliations.
• Strong reporting and analytical skills.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• The ability to work to deadlines, particularly during month-end periods.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Allocate and reconcile customer payments across multiple account types and currencies.
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare reconciliation reports and support month-end close activities.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve account variances.
• Process refunds, adjustments, account cancellations, and account maintenance requests.
• Investigate payment disputes and chargebacks.
• Manage unallocated funds and account suppression activities.
• Maintain direct debit authorities and ensure compliance with customer agreements.
• Provide accurate data entry and administrative support.
• Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive operational efficiencies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
