Responsibilities

• Assist in inventory management for aircraft parts, materials, tools, consumables, and supplies.
• Audit materials for identification, condition, quantity, documentation, traceability, and conformity with requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels, provisioning requirements, and related costs to support maintenance operations.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, logistics partners to ensure timely delivery and conformity of goods and services.
• Verify procured goods meet quality, quantity, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and document processes for importation, shipment, receipt, inspection, and storage of aircraft materials.
• Maintain knowledge of aviation importation, customs, shipping, and documentation requirements.
• Monitor the implementation of a traceable storage and stock-control system.
• Assist in controlling identification, segregation, preservation, handling, storage, and disposal of aviation materials.
• Ensure material records provide traceability from procurement to disposition.
• Identify discrepancies, non-conformities, and quality risks.

Jr. Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Engineer to support our aircraft maintenance, materials management, technical operations, and quality systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory & Maintenance Materials Quality Management

• Assist in establishing and maintaining an effective inventory management system for aircraft parts, materials, tools, consumables, and supplies.

• Conduct audits and verification of materials to ensure proper identification, condition, quantity, documentation, traceability, and conformity with applicable requirements.

• Monitor inventory levels, material availability, provisioning requirements, and related costs to support uninterrupted maintenance operations.

• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, logistics partners, and service providers to ensure timely delivery and conformity of goods and services.

• Verify that procured goods and services meet specified quality, quantity, technical, and regulatory requirements.

• Assist in developing and documenting processes for the importation, shipment, receipt, inspection, storage, issuance, return, and disposition of aircraft materials.

• Develop working knowledge of applicable aviation importation, customs, shipping, and documentation requirements.

2. Quality Control, Traceability & Storage

• Monitor the implementation and continuous improvement of a robust and traceable storage and stock-control system.

• Assist in implementing appropriate controls for the identification, segregation, preservation, handling, storage, issuance, return, and disposal of aviation materials.

• Ensure material records provide traceability from procurement and receipt through storage, installation/use, and final disposition.

• Identify discrepancies, non-conformities, process gaps, and potential quality risks.

• Assist in implementing and monitoring corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

3. Technical & Aviation Industry Development

• Undergo theoretical and on-the-job training in aviation, aircraft maintenance, quality principles, and applicable regulatory requirements.

• Participate in activities involving Technical Services, airworthiness management, aircraft records, maintenance planning, and continuing airworthiness.

• Attend aeronautical engineering tutorials and aircraft familiarization activities covering aircraft systems, structures, powerplant, and the organization’s Cessna fleet.

• Develop sufficient technical knowledge to evaluate maintenance processes, records, materials, and quality requirements effectively.

4. Airworthiness & Reliability Support

• Assist in monitoring applicable Airworthiness Directives (ADs) and other mandatory regulatory requirements.

• Assist in evaluating and monitoring applicable Service Bulletins (SBs) and manufacturer‑issued technical information.

• Support the Reliability Program through data gathering, trend monitoring, documentation, and identification of recurring maintenance or reliability concerns.

• Maintain accurate and traceable records of compliance, findings, corrective actions, and supporting documentation.

5. Quality Management System (QMS) & Safety Management System (SMS)

• Undergo practical training and immersion in the organization’s QMS and SMS.

• Assist in implementing, monitoring, and improving quality and safety processes.

• Support internal audits, inspections, quality surveillance, process reviews, and compliance monitoring.

• Document audit findings, non-conformities, observations, corrective actions, and preventive actions, and monitor their timely closure.

• Promote proper documentation, process discipline, risk awareness, and continuous improvement.

6. Continuous Improvement & Quality Assurance

• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, process reliability, material control, documentation, and regulatory compliance.

• Develop and maintain quality reports, records, checklists, procedures, and monitoring tools.

• Ensure assigned activities comply with approved procedures, applicable aviation regulations, organizational standards, and quality objectives.

• Proactively identify potential quality issues and elevate significant findings to the appropriate personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; relevant experience in aircraft maintenance, quality assurance/control, aviation operations, inventory/materials management, or technical services is an advantage.
