Job summary

A Brown Company, Inc. is seeking a Jr. Civil Engineer to assist the Site Manager with civil engineering tasks, documentation, reporting, and on-site supervision.

You will oversee construction activities, coordinate with suppliers, and help ensure project completion within budget and quality standards. The role requires at least 1 year of experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and SAP/DREAMS, and a valid Civil Engineering degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, preferably licensed.
• At least 1 year of engineering practice.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and SAP/DREAMS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in detailed engineering planning and design.
• Monitor and lead house construction (civil works).
• Perform site inspections, safety checks, and quality control.
• Act as a Pollution Control Officer and ensure environmental compliance.
• Prepare Purchase Requisition Forms (PRF) and process contractor billings.
• Coordinate with suppliers and facilitate product presentations.
• Prepare Certificates of Completion (COC) and other project reports.
• Prepare cost estimates, project schedules, and track progress.
• Monitor material deliveries and coordinate with warehouse/purchasing teams.
• Conduct regular MANCOM (Manager Coordination Meetings).
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure a hazard-free environment.
• Address workers' safety concerns and ensure OSHA compliance.
