Job summary

Cebu Pacific Air is seeking a junior payments specialist to manage daily payments, disbursements, and fraud screening, ensuring accuracy and timely processing. The role involves SAP-based payment validation and coordination with banks and partners.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong attention to detail, and solid MS Office skills. It offers hybrid work in Pasay and a path to growth within the payments function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or any related field.
• Experience in payments, disbursements, and/or collections processing, with hands-on SAP experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of bank reconciliation and payment processing; international payments and SWIFT instruction processing are an advantage.
• Familiarity with accountable forms and financial documentation, such as Acknowledgement Receipts and invoices.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in financial transactions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily payments, collections, disbursements, and fraud-screening transactions.
• Process and validate payments and Payable Vouchers in SAP.
• Monitor bank transactions, remittances, reconciliations, aging reports, and unrecorded transactions, resolving discrepancies.
• Perform fraud review and payment verification.
• Prepare receipts, statements, reports, reconciliation schedules, and payment documentation.
• Coordinate with internal/external customers, banks, vendors, and business partners to resolve payment and collections concerns.
• Maintain financial databases, systems, records, and supporting documents.
• Provide administrative, project, reporting, and operational support while ensuring compliance with established payment controls and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage daily payments, collections, disbursements, and fraud-screening transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Process and validate payments and Payable Vouchers in SAP, including preparation and submission of bank payment instructions.
• Monitor bank transactions, remittances, reconciliations, aging reports, and unrecorded transactions, resolving discrepancies as needed.
• Perform fraud review and payment verification, including suspicious card transactions and billing/fee validation.
• Prepare receipts, statements, reports, reconciliation schedules, and payment documentation.
• Coordinate with internal/external customers, banks, vendors, and business partners to resolve payment and collections concerns.
• Maintain financial databases, systems, records, and supporting documents.
• Provide administrative, project, reporting, and operational support while ensuring compliance with established payment controls and procedures.
