Job summary

Autohub Group of Companies seeks a Job Controller to coordinate and monitor repair orders in our workshop in Pasig. You will assign jobs to technicians based on skills and workload, and ensure operations run efficiently and on schedule.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in automotive service, strong communication and organizational skills, and a drive to maintain accurate reports. On-site work is required in C. Raymundo Pasig.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an automotive-related course or vocational program.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in an automotive dealership or service center.
• Knowledge of automotive service operations and repair orders is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in computer applications and basic report preparation.
• Driver's license is an advantage; willing to work on-site in Pasig.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor repair orders and assign jobs to technicians.
• Track progress of technicians and vehicle repairs.
• Maintain the workshop planner and daily reports.
• Coordinate with service advisors, technicians, parts, and workshop staff.
• Ensure on-time repair completion and manage job load and carry-overs.
• Address concerns about job allocation and progress.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY

The Job Controller is responsible for coordinating and monitoring repair orders, assigning jobs to technicians, and ensuring that workshop operations run efficiently and according to schedule.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive and review Service/Repair Orders from Service Advisors.
• Assign and distribute repair orders to technicians based on their skills and workload.
• Monitor the progress of each technician and the status of vehicles under repair.
• Update and maintain the workshop planner/process control board.
• Monitor daily workshop appointments, job loading, carry-over jobs, and pending repairs.
• Coordinate with Service Advisors, Technicians, Parts, and Workshop personnel regarding job status.
• Ensure repair orders are properly updated and completed within the required time.
• Prepare daily workshop reports and monitor productivity.
• Address concerns related to job allocation and repair progress.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of an Automotive-related course or vocational course.
• With at least 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in an automotive dealership or service center.
• Knowledge of automotive service operations and repair orders is an advantage.
• Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Computer literate and able to prepare basic reports.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to work under pressure.
• Professional Driver's License is an advantage.
