Responsibilities include greeting customers, demonstrating product knowledge, assisting with selections, processing sales, and maintaining displays.

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Jewellery Sales Associate to join our team at ZC Kings Manpower Janitorial Services Cooperative. This is a full-time position based in Ortigas, Pasig City, Metro Manila. As a Jewellery Sales Associate, you will be the face of our jewellery retail operation, creating memorable customer experiences whilst driving sales and building lasting relationships with clientele. This role is pivotal to our retail success, as you will be responsible for showcasing our exquisite jewellery collection and ensuring customer satisfaction at every touchpoint.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to create a welcoming shopping environment
• Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge about jewellery pieces, including materials, craftsmanship, design features and pricing
• Assist customers in selecting appropriate jewellery items based on their preferences, occasions and budget
• Process sales transactions accurately and securely, maintaining high standards of cash handling and point-of-sale procedures
• Maintain and display jewellery stock in an organised, visually appealing manner
• Conduct jewellery cleaning, polishing and basic maintenance to keep products in pristine condition
• Handle customer inquiries regarding product specifications, customisation options and warranty information
• Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets through proactive customer engagement
• Maintain a clean and secure retail environment, adhering to all health and safety standards
• Collaborate with team members to support store operations and contribute to a positive workplace culture

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working in retail, preferably in jewellery, luxury goods or a similar customer-facing environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele
• Strong sales ability with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Detailed product knowledge or demonstrated ability to quickly learn about jewellery and gemstones
• Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and retail management software
• High level of honesty and integrity, particularly when handling valuable items
• Flexibility to work in a retail environment, including potential weekend and evening shifts
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Customer service orientation with patience and problem-solving abilities
• Preferred: Previous experience in jewellery retail or luxury brand retail environments
