Job summary

ING Hubs B.V. Philippine Branch is seeking an experienced Operations Engineer to join the Java Platform Team in the Accounts & Cash Management Domain.

You will own platform availability, drive reliability, and lead migrations and incident response. You will work with global teams to implement automation, observability, and DevOps practices that scale for millions of customers, contributing to secure, resilient financial services.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Operations/Platform Engineering or DevOps.
• Hands-on with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards, Artifacts, Test Plans).
• OpenShift and Kubernetes administration and support.
• Linux administration, shell scripting, automation.
• Observability with Grafana/Prometheus/OpenTelemetry.
• ELK Stack experience and IaC tooling.
• Cloud platforms, networking, containerization, and incident management.
• Experience with RCA and long-term fixes.

Responsibilities

• Own platform availability, reliability, and performance.
• Lead lifecycle management, upgrades, and migrations.
• Drive risk remediation, security, and compliance activities.
• Manage major incidents and restore services.
• Perform RCA and implement preventive measures.
• Enhance observability with monitoring dashboards and runbooks.
• Automate operational processes to boost efficiency.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to deliver resilient solutions.
• Support Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management.
